La Veneta is a family-run company based in the Veneto region, a few kilometers from Padova. This is an area of incredible biodiversity and strong business ethics. For two generations, our company has been packaging fresh-cut salads with the aim of bringing all the freshness of just-picked produce to homes all over the world.

The entrepreneurial choices made over the years by the company’s founder, Flavio Piccolo, are the roots of our reality, and the generational change to his sons, Andrea and Nicola, has brought a new wave of vitality to the company, which is now able to anticipate the demands of the international market.

More than twenty-five years of experience, carefully selected varieties of salad, a structured organisation and meticulous attention to the freshness of the product have meant that La Veneta salads can now be found in Italian and European supermarkets, even under private labels.

With this philosophy, La Veneta was born in the Veneto region, but it has reached the whole world, efficiently, promptly and safely transporting fresh-cut salads, ready to be seasoned, to be tasted, to be loved.

In our catalogue you will find the traditional pret à manger salads such as green and red lollo, lettuce, baby spinach, but also more exotic and richer mixes with rocket, baby spinach, escarole, sugar loaf chicory, mizuna, seeds and flowers as well. A constant search for new combinations of flavours and tastes, contrasting textures and the unmistakable scent of freshly picked salads.

  • Innovative washing process for the freshest prepared salads: La Veneta fresh-cut salads are washed using an innovative technique with ozonated water. The result is a cleaner, safer product with a longer shelf life.

 

  • Hygiene and healthiness guaranteed: in our in-house lab our products are constantly subjected to microbiological analysis and the results are promptly sent to our clients for fast transparent traceability. Chemical parameters and multi-residue analysis are instead carried out by certified external laboratories.

 

  • Fast efficient capillary transport: our company’s logistically strategic position makes for guaranteed fast transport all over Europe, thanks also to the use of our own and third party refrigerated trucks that guarantee the cold chain and correct product shelf life.
